Tripas à moda do Porto is one of the famous recipes of our Portuguese cuisine. It looks like a soup, but it isn’t, it has a lot of sauce. It takes chickpeas, beef, veal, cow hand, sausages and it is served with rice.

Sardines are grilled and very tasted in the summer.

Cozido à portuguesa is one of the most popular meat dishes in Portugal. It takes pork sausages, vegetables, potatoes, pork, veal and chicken. Everything is cooked in the same pot so that the flavours blend all together.

Valença is our hometown. It is situated in the north of Portugal, and Tui is our neighbour city. The river Minho separates Valença from Tui (Spain). It has a population of about ten thousand people. It is a very beautiful town and we hope you will come and visit it soon.
